Erstes iranisches Frauen Filmfestival in Frankfurt
Vom 30.03. bis zum 05.04.2023 im FilmForum Höchst und im Harmonie Filmtheater
Liebe Pressevertreterinnen, liebe Filmfreunde,
Unser neu gegründeter Verein hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Filmkunst und die film kulturellen Aktivitäten zu fördern. Aufgrund aktueller Ereignisse im Iran möchten wir ein iranisches Frauen-Filmfestival veranstalten und dem Frankfurter Publikum zeigen, wie Filmemacherinnen unter einer islamistischen Diktatur arbeiten. Dabei soll die neue Generation von weiblichen Filmemacherinnen im Iran die Gelegenheit bekommen, ein internationales Publikum zu erreichen und in direkten Kontakt – auch über Online-Gespräche – mit dem Frankfurter Publikum zu treten.
Wir haben vier Spielfilme, drei Dokumentarfilme und fünf Kurzfilme ausgewählt, die von Regisseurinnen zwischen 2019 und 2022 im Iran gedreht wurden. So entsteht ein Überblick über das aktuelle weibliche Filmschaffen im heutigen Iran.
Das erste iranische Frauen-Filmfestival findet vom 30.03. bis zum 05.04.023 im FilmForum Höchst sowie im Filmtheater Harmonie im Stadtteil Sachsenhausen statt. Details zumFestivalprogramm senden wir Ihnen in Kürze zu.
